Bible Study Tips for People Who Don't Like to Read

Here is a quick one for the non-readers:

Grab a Bible app that dictates the Bible audibly. Listen to it at the gym, while driving, or during a morning quiet time.

The Youversion app has translations that have both Old and New Testament available for audio.

Your church might have a dramatized Bible on CD or MP3 that could become a great companion for your commute to work or cleaning day. Just ask your pastor or church secretary.

If you CAN read, exercise the blessing and privilege to read the Bible for yourself. I have felt the conviction to be grateful; not everybody has both the education to read and a copy of the Bible to study for themselves as I do.

Guilt trip aside, you might even learn to love reading the more you try (someone told me this when I was elementary school and it totally worked!)

Still not “getting there?” If your Bible study regiment is still void, perhaps you are struggling with a different issue besides the reading part. Press the “Follow” button to get updates on more topics for the Bible Study Struggle.

I just happened upon your blog thru Pinterest, Becky. Nice to see such an attractive young woman working to influence the minds of young women toward salvation in Christ. My hubby and I host a couples bible study in our home Wednesday nites and I recently started a study with a small group of women here in my home on Wednesday mornings….so I have accountability when it comes to bible reading and study! Otherwise, wow would I ever be totally distracted!
Keep up the good work…for His kingdom!

    God Bless YOU
